This Is Our Favorite Manicure Trend for Summer

We’re always a fan of bright nail polish in the summer, but there’s just something about a neutral manicure that we’ll never get tired of. Enter one of the biggest polish trends this season: milky nails.

The look is a cool and understated semi-sheer white (or close to white) manicure that looks—you guessed it—like a tall glass of milk. The best part? It’s so easy that pretty much anyone can do it (and it goes with everything!).

To try it yourself, start by applying our Base Coat and letting it fully dry. Next, apply one layer of your color of choice—we like Cloud or Iceberg for a truly milky look, but Duvet, Exposed, or Marble are also good options if you want something slightly darker. The trick to achieving the minimal yet chic design is by keeping your polish job in the middle point between an opaque white manicure and a sheer white manicure so that it appears translucent and reminiscent of milk. Let that single coat of polish fully dry, and then finish it off by applying a generous layer of our glossy Top Coat.
