How To Determine Your Face Shape
Posted on March 31 2021
Knowing your face shape can be helpful when it comes to mastering certain makeup techniques like contouring or applying products like blush, bronzer, or highlighter—and we’re here to make it easy for you to figure out.
To determine your face shape, pull back your hair so that the outline of your face is fully exposed and examine these three criteria: the widest part of your face (forehead, cheeks or jaw), the shape of your jawline and chin (round, square or pointy), and the length of your face (short or long). Once you’ve noted these features, check out our guide to six different face shapes below and see which one fits you best.
