Posted on March 01 2023
Lavender is having a moment. From the runways to your social feed and in the lyrics of charting songs—purple seems to be everywhere, and that includes in our favorite makeup looks.
From soft lilac to midnight violet, we've rounded up a few of our favorite ways to wear the trending shade right now. Scroll down to add some lavender to your life.
Subtle Winged Eye. Reach for our Precision Liquid Liner in Amethyst (a shimmering deep orchid) or our Eye Defining Pencil in Indigo (a cool matte grape) to line your eyes in purple. The vibrant shades will add a touch of cool to your eyes, but are subtle enough to wear with any look.
Lavender Haze Nails. There’s no easier way to try out the shade than with a dreamy manicure. Our Nail Polish comes in an assortment of 10-free and non-toxic shades, but Pleasure (a digital lavender crème) and Delight (a pale lavender crème) are our current favorites.
Vivid Purple Lip. Go royal with our Lip Color in Ultra Violet. The medium purple hue has hints of opalescent pink that make it easy to wear—make sure to prep your pout with our Lip Primer for ultimate saturation.
Shimmering Eyelids. Add a smudge of purple along your lash line or blend on a wash of color with our Mineral Eyeshadow in Angel, Dusk or Euphoria. For a full-on lavender haze, sweep the shadow over your eyelids and up toward your brow bone for a seamless look while keeping the rest of your face clean and simple.
Glowing Cheeks. To add brightness to a dull complexion, try our Mineral Blush in Haze. This shade—which features a subtle hint of raspberry and a warm iridescent shimmer—can be re-applied to achieve the desired intensity of color without any powdery build-up.
Ultra Glossy Pout. Go dark with our Sheer Gloss in Mania—a luxe deep plum—and apply several coats for maximum shine. The sheer pop of color will keep your lips soft and supple.
