Get To Know: Our Highlighters

Want to get your glow on, but not sure what highlighter to reach for? We’ve got you covered.

The right product will instantly boost your skin’s radiance and immediately accentuate your best facial features by adding dimension, but with so many choices selecting just one can seem daunting—it’s actually easy. Simply take your skin type, complexion shade, and the effect you’re going for into consideration and you’ll be shimmering in no time.

We break down our different highlighters and how to use them below.

Cream Highlighter
The advantage to cream highlighter is that it’s totally versatile—you can apply it with your fingers or with a brush, it blends naturally and seamlessly with your skin, and it has multiple uses. The easiest way to apply our Cream Highlighter—which gives an instant natural glow—is to tap it into the skin with two fingers above and below the brow, on the high points of your cheeks, and on the bridge of your nose for an instant flush of brightness. This formula is perfect for all skin types, ages, and tones because of its sheer and buildable formula—if you have dry or mature skin this is your top option because the silky texture blends easily into skin without sucking up moisture and doesn’t settle into fine lines.

Liquid Radiance
The best part about liquid highlighter is that it’s simple to apply on the go and works on all skin types. Our unique and lightweight Liquid Radiance comes in three shades to suit all complexions and features a rollerball applicator that glides on quickly and easily, creating a celestial and illuminating highlight. The color options make this product ideal if you want a highlighter tailored to your skin tone—try Halo for pale to fair skin, Rose Gold for medium skin, and Liquid Gold for medium to dark skin. Depending on the intensity you’re going for, you can apply it to your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, above your lip, on your chin, in the inner corner of your eyes, and on your brow bone. An added bonus: You can even mix it with your moisturizer for a subtler look.

Mineral Highlighter
The reason to choose powder highlighter is for its major shimmer and buildability. (Note: If you have very dry skin skin or a lot of fine lines, it might be best to try a different option). Our long-wear, Mineral Highlighter features luminescent pigments to cast a lit-from-within shimmer—and adds the most glow of any highlighter choice. Use a Kabuki Brush for maximum impact or a smaller brush for a more opaque look—when applying focus on the high points of your face and blend well using light pressure. As a general guideline, always remember that less is more, as powder can get intense very quickly. Apply it to your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, arch of your brow, cupid’s bow, and décolleté for flawlessly incandescent results.
